Cry Out

The battle is waging,

The enemy’s strong…

Mothers and Fathers cry out.

His tactics relentless,

Temptations so sweet…

Mothers and Fathers cry out.

We’re confounded, astounded,

We’re desperate and weak…

Mothers and Fathers cry out.

He keeps inching closer,

Creeping in on all sides…

Mothers and Fathers cry out.

We close all our doors,

Yet he seeps in the cracks…

Mothers and Fathers cry out.

BUT our Victor, He’s stronger!!

He says, “Don’t lose hope!!!”

Mothers and Fathers, cry out!!

He says “Persevere!!”

Keep your eyes fixed on Me!!

Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

He reminds us again

Of His love deep and wide.

Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

“I made them! I formed them!

I know them by name!!”

Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

See His hope is our anchor…

It’s firm and secure,

So Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

He knows all our fears…

He stores every tear…

So Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

He loves our dear children

So much more than we do…

Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

Let’s raise up an army,

Let’s be silent NO MORE.

Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

He equips us,

He trains us…He takes ALL our fears…

Mothers and Fathers cry out!!

Let’s fight for our children…

Our prayers WILL be heard!!

Please- Mothers and Fathers,

CRY OUT!!

Cry out for the orphans,

The prodigals too…

Please- Mothers and Fathers,

CRY OUT!!

See He came here and died

So their lives could be saved!

So Mothers and Fathers,

CRY OUT!!

On our knees we will fight,

On His throne HE WILL HEAR.

Dear Mothers and Fathers,

CRY OUT!!

I love the LORD, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.” Psalm 116:1-2

“In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From His temple He heard my voice; my cry came before Him, into His ears.” Psalm 18:6

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16

For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb…Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!” Psalm 139:13, 16-17
