Hi!
Welcome to the quiet place where I sit with Jesus. Sometimes I come early, coffee in hand, eyes bleary from sleep, soul-thirsty (before the chaos of the day begins). Other times, I come late, sleepy-eyed, and soul-tired (after the chaos has settled). This is the place where I lay down my burdens, anxieties, and cares at His feet. Where I fix my gaze on Him so I won’t focus on lesser, trivial things.
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Hebrews 12:2
“Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.” – Jeremiah 15:16
Come, sit, and take a long drink of the only Water that satisfies—the Water that refreshes our thirsty souls. Come and be nourished by His Word—set everything down and be still at the feet of Jesus.
“…but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” – John 4:14
I hope you have come expectantly, because God meets us when we seek Him.
“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
