Hi!

Welcome to the quiet place where I sit with Jesus.  Sometimes early, coffee in hand, eyes sleep~bleary and soul thirsty (before the chaos), sometimes late…sleepy~eyed and soul~tired (after the chaos).  Welcome to the place where I sit and take a long drink of His Living Water. The place where I set my burdens…anxieties…cares…down at His feet and sit and fix my gaze on Him (lest I fix it on lesser, trivial things).

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”  Hebrews 12:2

When I fix my gaze on Him when it’s quiet and calm, it’s much easier to keep my gaze fixed (or to RE-FIX my gaze) when the day turns crazy and chaotic.

(That’s pretty much every day.)

This quiet time with Him is where I receive the nourishment from His Word that I need more than the air that I breathe.

“Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.”  Jeremiah 15:16

This is my passion…encountering the Living God through reading, studying and sharing His Word.  I love to hear the pages crinkle as I turn them, I love to look at verses that I’ve underlined and re~underlined and remember God’s faithfulness to me.  That He always keeps His promises.  That He loves me, He is with me, that He is constantly pursuing me and drawing me to Himself.

My desire is for others to have a passion for God’s Word, too.  To long for His truth, to know Him better by encountering Him in His Word.

So come, sit, take a long drink of the only Water that satisfies.  The Water that refreshes our thirsty souls.  Come and be nourished by His Word!!

“…but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”  John 4:14

Set it all down and sit and Be Still at the feet of Love and gaze upon Love Himself…
